Get your own copy
The link to the template opens a read-only version. You can look around, but Notion won’t keep anything you type until you copy the template into your own Notion account. Copying it takes about two minutes.
Do this on a computer if you can. The buttons are larger and easier to find than on a phone.
Step 1: Open the template
Click the template link. It opens in your web browser.
Step 2: Click Duplicate
Look in the top right corner of the page for a button labelled Duplicate, and click it.
Step 3: Sign up or log in
If you don’t have a Notion account yet, Notion will ask you to create one. You can sign up with your email address, or with a Google or Apple account. The free plan covers everything in this template, so you can skip any offer to upgrade.
Notion may ask a few questions about how you plan to use it. Answer them however you like. They don’t change the template.
If you already have a Notion account, log in instead.
Step 4: Choose where it goes
If your account has more than one workspace, Notion asks which one to copy the template into. A workspace is Notion’s name for the space where all your pages live. Pick your own.
Step 5: Find your copy
Your copy opens straight away. It also appears in the list down the left of the screen, which Notion calls the sidebar.
You’ll know you’re in your own copy because you can type on the page and the Duplicate button has gone.
To find it again in one click, open your copy and click the star icon in the top right corner. That adds it to Favourites at the top of your sidebar.
