Who we are

This website is operated by Simon Theakston, trading as Four Hour Freedom (fourhourfreedom.com). For any privacy-related queries, contact: partners@fourhourfreedom.com

What data we collect and why

The only personal data collected on this site is your email address, and only when you choose to subscribe to the Four Hour Freedom newsletter.

Newsletter subscriptions are processed by Substack (substack.com). When you subscribe, your email address is stored by Substack and you will receive the Four Hour Freedom newsletter. Substack's own privacy policy governs how they handle your data: substack.com/privacy.

We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties.

Analytics

With your consent, this site uses Google Analytics to understand how many people visit and which pages they read. This is aggregate traffic data — it's not used to identify you personally, and it's not sold or shared with anyone outside Google.

Google Analytics only loads if you click “Accept” on the cookie banner. If you click “Decline”, or don't interact with the banner at all, no analytics tracking runs and no analytics cookies are set. Google's own privacy policy governs how they handle this data: policies.google.com/privacy.

Cookies

This site sets one cookie-free record itself: a note in your browser's local storage of whether you accepted or declined analytics, so we don't ask again on every visit. This isn't a cookie and isn't sent to any server.

If you accept analytics, Google Analytics sets its own cookies to distinguish visitors. Substack's embed iframe may also set cookies in accordance with their own privacy policy. You can clear or block any of these at any time in your browser settings.

Affiliate links

Some links on the Tools page are affiliate links. Clicking them and making a purchase may result in a small commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links are clearly indicated.

Your rights (UK / GDPR)

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Withdraw consent at any time
  • Lodge a complaint with the ICO (ico.org.uk)

To unsubscribe from the newsletter, use the unsubscribe link in any email or manage your subscription directly at fourhourfreedom.substack.com. For any other requests, contact partners@fourhourfreedom.com.
